Serato Video is a plug-in, which enables DJs to manipulate video playback with Serato DJ software Scratch Live and ITCH, is out now. Based on the popular Video-SL plug-in, Serato Video now gives.
Easily add video to your DJ workflow and become your own VJ with Serato Video. Video file playback is controlled the same way as audio, so incorporating visual effects and transitions or your own promotional graphics is super simple.
Serato Video also supports a wide array of video file formats on both Mac and Windows systems.

Free video content
Ego and Beeple have put together some awesome packs of royalty free visuals, and Xtendamix have come through with 40 free music videos and Mac users can get five audio reactive Quartz compositions from I Love QC.
Karaoke file support
Serato Video supports MP3+G playback so you can play your Karaoke library in Serato DJ Pro. Simply load the files up like any other track in your library and DJ with your Karaoke tracks using all Serato DJ Pro features.
Master effects
As well as dedicated channel effects you can now apply two Serato Video effects to the Master output channel. This lets you leave video effects on for your whole set while crossfading between two tracks.
Record your set
Record your full set with audio and HD video at the press of a button and easily create your own video mixtapes for online promotion.
Audio-linked effects
Use Serato DJ Pro’s audio effects powered by iZotope in your video sets to trigger a linked video effect while you’re in the mix. Audio echoes create visual echoes in the picture, while distortion effects distort the image.
Syphon
Thanks to Syphon support, Serato Video can send the main video output to other applications in real time, so it’s compatible with third party apps like projection mapping software.
