He's added effects and tweaked the patches to make them his own.

Dec 31, 2015 Spectrasonics put a lot of top quality content into Omnisphere but there is some other content they added, like their EDM patches, that in my opinion could be a lot better. That is where third party patches come in. Plus, many people don't want to use the same patches everyone else is using and need more variety to keep things fresh.
